Salvation Prayer

One of the greatest things that God has ever done for humanity is to gift them with the gift of salvation and reconciliation to Him. The bible gives us the background in the book of Genesis 3 (Please read) of what and why we were separated from him and hence the need for salvation and reconciliation.

“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned” (Romans 5:12, NLT).

The best part about this short story is that God made a plan for redemption. In John 3:16, the bible says

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

He so loved us that He could not stand to see us perish in our sins.This salvation is not only to save us from sin here on earth, but save us from eternal damnation. There's life beyond the grave, and the only way to access this life is through JESUS CHRIST, by confessing with your mouth and believing with your heart that JESUS CHRIST is LORD. Once you've done this, you are SAVED, God erases your past, your sins are forgiven and He gives you a fresh start.

SCRIPTURE REF:

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

SALVATION PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for sending me your Son Jesus Christ, that through Him my sins may be forgiven and that I might have access to eternal life. Lord Jesus Christ today I accept you as my Lord and Savior, I believe that you came and took upon yourself my sins that I may have everlasting life and From today, I submit to your Lordship and I am now your child.
