self healing

To self heal is to build walls around your heart, it is to control the external environment to protect the internal environment, it definitely is also to harden your heart. But truth be said, something will soon break down your walls ("Triggers") and spill out everything you've been protecting. On the contrary though, there's a word in scripture which says "agree with your adversary". Meaning confess/agree with your weaknesses, your hurt, insecurities etc.

Matthew 5:25-26

25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. Why?

Like the bible says in the book of Hebrews 12 (Read it), "We have come to God, the Judge of all" (Court of heaven). So, we bring these things to court in front of the Judge and we rest assured that if we confess, he is able to Judge fairly, give a Verdict based on the finished work of the cross. This is when we begin to experience the healing power of God, where his blood is pleaded over the very places in our hearts that were previously imperfect and this is where and how triggers are dealt with.
